12/16/2004 | G0ORG Very poor conditions experienced in G for the Contest. North & South paths were predominant and good for mid and South Africa however stations from ZS and V51 reported problems from very high noise levels. There were several South Americans and Caribbean Stations but the signal strengths were often very low. I only heard a couple of stations from the US and Canada who were mainly working internally. It's a pity as I had put up a Monoband Beam for the Contest - but never mind it was still enjoyable and there is always another year! 73 -- G0ORG
