12/25/2004 | WA1MKE I have participated in the ten meter contest most years since the 1970's. This one has to be the worst from a propagation point of view. I heard no Europeans. This was mostly a north south event from my vantage point in 9 land. Only TX and FL were in my log until saturday PM when the Caribean and South America started coming through. I usually participate in the low power, phone only category but this time I went with the mixed, low power category. I couldn't even match my phone only effort from last year! I still enjoyed the event but next year has got to be better!
