03/06/2002 | VK2CZ What a blast.., my very first ARRL DX contest. Rates peaked around 200/h for the few hours available to me. I had major social functions happening on the weekend, and starting work at 21:00z on 3rd (~8am Monday morning for us) also cut into quality 'on' periods. Wished I had antennas on 160/80/40/15m. My ATU growned using a fence wire on 40/15, but it made a few mults for me, but nothing at all would load on 80/75.

Worked all states +DC -KH6 in less than 12 hours.. my best has been 8 hours in 2001 ARRL 10m.

I already have received QSL cards for 4 qrp contacts!
