01/08/2005 | K1NV I made four nice SKN QSO's on 80 meters New Years Eve. I was surprised and pleased to receive an e-mail from Dave, AB5S, in Texas who copied my QSO with W7LBV, Chuck, in Oregon. Dave did not set up a transmitter for the event, but was able to listen on a WW II Japanese military receiver. He included a recording of my signal with the e-mail.
