01/24/2005 | WV0H Wow, no propagation on 6 at all! At least there were a few good rovers out there. No real enhancement or tropo either. All in all a fun contest but a bit slow at times. This was the first time for my 'new' Microwave Modules 432 transverter. My K2 liked it but it didn't like being heated up much, I had to remove the cover in order to keep the frequency stable. 100W 2 el on 6m, 160W 8 el on 2m, 75W 7 el on 70cm, 200mW and 1 foot parabolic dish on 10GHz at 9025 feet above sea level. Maybe in June I will have the 1296 transverter going. -- WV0H
