03/10/2005 | WA6WPG SO 40 LP-Operating 40 meters in this contest is always a challenge. Operating LP even more so. Trying to be heard among the MEGA BC stations requires a very good antenna and like most of us who live in an urban area that requires lots of space. So I got some land far from ANYWHERE where I could set up a 40 meter 4 Square and it has been worth it. While using a large battery and operating from my auto is less than an ideal situation, working with this antenna is a treat.
