2005 ARRL June VHF Contest

06/27/2005 | KB1HXO Had a good couple of hour's operating from the highest point in the northeast Mt Washington . It was very windy and fog was all that could be seen. But i was able to get the 6 meter moxon up off the ground enough to make 80 contacts in about an hour and a half. The wind stopped me from putting up 2 meters and 432 mhz antennas. The radio that i had up there was an Icom 706 mk2g and seald lead acid battery. -- KB1HXO
