06/27/2005 | W9FO The Metro Amateur Radio Club operated 2F from the Lincolnwood Illinois Fire Department Training Room/EOC. Stations were CW, SSB, VHF/UHF, and GOTA. Guests included a Lincolnwood police officer, fire department leadership, ARES leadership, and three other individuals. The event was in air conditioned comfort while 90 degree temperatures cooked outside. A good time was had by all. 73 and see you next year! -- W8UFO
