06/27/2005 | KB8GOY Thanks to all who worked KB8GOY during field day 2005, we had a blast, the mobile antenna farm worked as we thought, 2 mtr ssb and 6 ssb at 45 feet mounted on Rohn 20 on the back of my pick-up, logged us a few qso's on vhf ssb, 40 & 20 were the bands for us here in en72rq, seemed that 80, 15 and 10 were all but dead for us, lots of of fun was had by all of the Michigan Splatter Stik group, look for us nxt yr in the June qso party, I think we made a few new-bee's interested in the contest gig, 73 all, de kb8goy.. sk -- KB8GOY
