07/11/2005 | W8MRM We felt that this year's Field Day was a worthwhile experience for all of our participants. Band conditions were not quite as good as last year but we still seemed to be able to hold our own. The new Youth bonus point system was fun. We had 8 kids between the ages of 7 and 17 take part making QSOs. Two of them are now studying for the Technician License.

This year the set up and take down went smoothly and we had a complete crew on hand for both.
