11/22/2005 | WA4HHG This is my first SS in over 30 years of being licensed. Had a good deal of fun running QRP with an FT-817. Will do a couple of things differently next time. Only operated something like 8 hours; will extend that. Starting out using N3FJB software from contact #1 v/s 1/2 way through then editing later will be a priority.

The lack of E-W facing wires on 160-40 really hurt in getting sections/multipliers. As 40 went long, it became very productive. Still, the N-S facing wires enabled a respectable countact count. 20M was near impossible due to QRM despite using an M2 20M4 at 100'. The productivity of 15 suprised me on Saturday.
