12/12/2005 | N4XU Operated CW only, low power (100 watts). Used my backup radio, a Kenwood TS2000, utilizing the internal ATU into a 40 meter rotatable dipole at 60-ft. Unfortunately, the tri-band yagi "bit the dust", so had to resort to whatever was available. Managed to work 163 stations, and my "thanks" to those who listened for my "weak" signal. Worked 36 sections and 12 countries. Best catch was near the end, when after about 10 minutes of calling, worked TF4M. Had a good time - first contest in about 5 years. 73 - Neal -- N4XU
