12/13/2005 | KX1G That was one of the more interesting 10m contests. I had put in only a token effort the past two years, but decided to give it a serious effort this year. I was rewarded by being there for a short but good opening on Saturday, and then a longer opening on Sunday. Managed 430 Q's in 20 hours operating time. Never heard Europe or Asia/South Pacific and managed only 10 DX contacts. Had 68 state/province mults. With a 2-element yagi at about 20' it was a whole lot of fun.
