01/08/2006 | KH6IN The efforts at KH6IN for the 10-Meter Contest was at Laupahoehoe Point Beach Park, Hawaii. This is near Hilo, Hawaii at grid BK29jx. The station ran 100 watts with 2 antennas available: a 14-element "portable" Sterba Curtain and a 5-element Yagi. The Sterba was supported between a pair of extension ladder-masts at 46 feet and the Yagi was on a similar support at 28 feet. The operators were Max, KH6ZM, Dean, KH6B, Corky, W6ORS and Jeremy, AH6V. -- KH6B
