The ARES group operated a traditional field day located at the Pell City Civic Center and Lakeside Park located on Logan Martin Lake.

The Coosa Valley Ham Radio Association (CVHRA) demonstrated a number of data modes, including 1.2 gig 128 Kbps D-Star data transfer, PSK31, 70cm ATV, slow scan TV, and traditional HF SSB modes. D-Star repeater mode was also demonstrated on both 2 meters and 440. The CVHRA activities were conducted at the Pell City WalMart. -- N4WRC
