06/26/2006 | N2JFS This years Field Day went in the Sign of Delays. I was delayed doing anything that had to do with the Field Day including get a team together. Consequently I was my own field day this year and I only got to operate a few hours. With my standard low power I made about 8 contacts per hour. Not too bad! Next year it will be better (as I think every year). Thank you, everybody who heard my weak signal on 40 meter. 20 meter was chaotic (as usual) and I didnt hear anything on 15 meters the few hours I was on.. Please spot my van in the corner of the picture. I used two 33 military surplus masts with a 200, 12 awg wire in-between. See (hear) you all next year. 73 de Hans -- N2JFS
