04/18/2002 | W2CXM We set a 10-year SS record for our station. Thanks to Natan W6XR and John KB2MTI for their help getting our new Force12 C4-XLE up and running. Lots of first-time ops did very well indeed with the difficult exchange. First time in a long time getting the Sweep, NWT and especially SB held out for a long time. All the usual contesting difficulties -- rotor not working, questionable 40 and 80 antennas, amp overheating made this an experience not soon forgotten. Thanks to all from W2CXM! -- W2CXM
