06/29/2006 | K6JRA Enjoyed Field Day - made more contacts than last year, and had lots of interesting people stop by the station. The site was on Mt. Diablo, a local state park.

A racoon visited while I was striking the station, and started off with my trash sack and the HT on top of it. After a quick chase, he decided to leave the HT behind and go with the food.

Thanks to all the stations that worked my calls. I'm looking forward to connecting with you again next year. -- K6JRA
