06/30/2006 | KO1K I really enjoyed this year's FD event- propagation conditions were very favorable here in the Northeast. I set up my old trusty IC-730 for 5W QRP in its 0-50W range, and gave my new 40m Double Extended Zepp antenna a good test on 15, 20, 40 and 80m cw. I'm impressed with the number of top-notch cw ops out there who were able to dig my QRP signal out of the chorus of participants- Thank you one and all for your patience! I'm already looking forward to next year's event and hope to meet you all on the air again next year. I return QSL 100%, so anyone needing confirmation of RI need only send along your card.
