06/30/2006 | N1XG The Pioneer Valley Radio Association (PVRA) had once again held Field Day this year high atop Box Mountain in Bolton, CT, just NE of Hartford. Although we had a more slimmed down crew, we managed to make it a great time and 80 meters worked well for us throughout the day and night. We even had a fairly new operator and member with us for a while, William (KB1NAH). He was great on HF and made a number of contacts. Overall, an enjoyable time was had by all!
