07/13/2006 | W4BRK This was the first time operating from the Berkeley County, SC, EOC as a Field Day station. We are the second to operate in the State of South Carolina and the first in the Low Country area (Berkeley, Charleston, Dorchester counties).

This being a first-time event, we did not push for a large score. One of our major goals was to find other Class F stations. We ended up with seventeen in the log.

Along with Field Day, Saturday featured our regular ARES meeting followed by an Advanced Skywarn class pressented by the NWS.
