WZ4V
This was a year of firsts for the Monroe Amateur Radio Club, of Monroe County, TN. We participated in our first field day as a club, used our new call sign WZ4V, to honor long time amateur radio operator and charter club member-Cecil Ritchie/SK, used our communications trailer for the first time, and operated on only backup emergency power using a new generator and battery backup. We had 11 participants, and operated 24 hours for a total of 500 contacts. We had a great time of learning, trouble shooting, fun, food, and fellowship. -- K4EZK
