08/08/2006 | N0EDV 432 Quagi failed very near the beginning of the contest. That left me with a 6 element homebrew Yagi on 222 and a 5 Watt (W1GHZ) transverter. Not much in the way of propagation. Best "DX" was KF9US, about 70 miles away. Never heard a single rover from the large group of rovers making up "Rovermania III". Still, I did have fun! Long live the UHF contest! -- N0EDV
