08/24/2006 | N6CA AND KH6WZ Chip N6CA, and Wayne KH6WZ of the San Bernardo Microwave Society (SBMS) rovered the "SJ Valley" in Central Calif. with 10GHz rigs. We were extremely worried about the dryness of the grass and brush - a fire-disaster waiting to happen. Fortunately, the giant sealed lead-acid battery was safely inside N6CA's big Chevy SUV.
