09/14/2006 | AB0RX This was my second VHF QSO party. I operated portable from Taum Sauk Mountain, the highest point in the Show-Me state (EM47pn). I like to camp there a few times a year and this time I was able to go the weekend of the contest. This time I added two new bands: two meters and 70cm. It was a good thing I had the new bands, because I never found six meters open. Activity was a little slow but I managed to work several grids on three bands. Somehow my watch lost 25 minutes over the three days I was there so the times in my log might be off a little.
