11/20/2006 | NH6P This was the first year to be operating with the new station in Hawaii. We got our sweep on Sunday, was running a pile and asked if there were any WMA stations around and after a few trys NG1I showed up for the QSO, Thanks Frank. Thanks to everyone in that pile that let me work my number 80. We also gave out many number 80s which is neat. Station is a IC-7800 and Commander amp and antennas a 8 Element M2 log at 75 feet and phased verticles twards the mainland. We worked a number of QRP stations, some with very good signals and even more interesting I pulled some of the QRP stations out of a large pile.

Well we will look forward to next year!! Now to get ready for CQWW CW.
