11/20/2006 | N3PV This was my third year of joining the Sweepstakes and I was on a limited time for the duration of the contest. Although my total score was not that high, surprisingly, I was able to sweep the contest on a right timing and strategy The higher band was open for PAC, AK, NT, BC and MB which these sections were really hard for me to get compared to previous years. Then, I concentrated on lower bands for the nearby sections. My last contact to sweep the contest was SNJ and thanks to K2AX. Thanks also to W3PP when he QSYed to 75M. I got the QSO with DE and it seems that he is lone contester from DE. It was very hard for him to catch in 40M as our location was kinda close to each other. As usual, the CA big guns are always there, you guys made the coast-to-coast QSOs easy. Surprisingly, W6TK (QSO serial # 85) was a real 57 in 75M. I had fun! -- N3PV
