11/20/2006 | KA5OAI This was my first contest in a number of years. My apartment land lord finally allowed a couple of verticals on the 20 foot high, 2nd floor roof.

QRP on a TS430S, full 5 watts into a 12 foot tall bugcatcher on 40m and a 17 meter hamstick on 20m and 15m. Seems WTX was a rare catch but I did put it on the air for 107 folks in 47 sections. 69Q's on 40m, 8Q's on 20m, and 30Q's on 15m. Throat died about 15 hrs into it, or might have had a better showing. Was great to get back on the air again. Looking foward to activating WTX for the CW contest. Listen for me on 40m and 15m.
