11/21/2006 | K9YMY Been a ham for over 46 years and this is the first Sweepstakes contest I ever entered. I had a great time. Used my TS-570d to a ground mounted butternut vertical and worked 160 stations and 62 sections. I have been in other contests before and always used paper logs but this time I submitted the cabrillo log and it sure was a lot easier. Guess you can teach an old dog new tricks! I'll be back next November, maybe with a little better antenna system. It was fun!
