11/22/2006 | NG1I "Never Give 1 Inch" Highside: I managed to make contact with Scott N3FJP and Kim KA3SEQ who designed my ACLogger and contest log after couple of years of back and forth e-mails. That was a great thrill and surprise. I also gave two stations, one being NH6P in PAC, their very last section, WMA, needed for their clean sweeps! Congratulations!

Downside: 15 and 20M weren't very kind to me this year but still managed all but 8 sections with the help of 40 and 80M....what a pileup! I missed out on WY, UT, LAX, and of course NT, but what the heck happened to WTX? Well with only a G5RV to work with on high power, I'm glad that I was able to work 110K+ points. I'm not a big gun or even a small pistol.....just a teeny squirt gun. I had to stop after 22 hours as my voice sounded like someone just kicked me in the groin.

Overall, my best effort yet and look forward to next year. CU in 2007! -- NG1I
