12/06/2006 | WE1L This was the first Contest that my Father (W8JUK) and I (WE1L) did together. Dad made a couple big multi's. 40 meters was wide open for us in North Carolina and found it to be the band of choice for this contest. We worked W1AW on 80 meters in the wee hours of the morning which was quite a treat for us.
