12/04/2006 | KF2U Operating on 160 from a small city lot is a challenge. But after listening to the contest on Friday night, I had to get into the action. My plan of sending the XYL Christmas shopping Saturday morning worked nicely. I hastily threw up an inverted L, which actually looked more like a square root symbol. It was only 30 feet high at best. But I managed to work 35 sections and just under 200 QSOs. Thanks to all who I made work to copy my weak signal. -- KF2U
