If you don't have a great 160 meter antenna, try this contest anyway! My antenna is coaxial feedline with the center and outer conductors shorted, which is attached to my 80 meter dipole at 30 feet. I used an IC-765 running 100 watts through a tuner. This setup results in lots of RF in the shack, but the signal is passable, garnering 59 sections and more than 200 contacts. -- W0KT
