12/03/2006 | W5MPC This was my first try at a 160 meter contest. I wasn't expecting much from my postage stamp sized city lot, but found that the 80 meter inverted L would load on 160. So despite the antenna being far from ideal and being surrounded by hills on all sides I managed to get a bit of a signal in the air. End result for me was 48 sections and 216 QSO's. I could hear a few stations in the Caribbean but couldn't get them in the log.

Next year will have to try a better antenna arrangement.
