12/06/2006 | KY5G Managed to work 7 or 8 hours this time. Conditions for me were pretty good with the east coast coming in strong here in WWA. Heard good signals from all over the US (except did not hear Florida).

Equipment here was a 400 foot center fed zepp up about 90 feet with a remote (400' from the shack) home brew QRO balanced tuner that N4SL and i whipped up a few years ago, Alpha 99, and an Orion-I. I only ran about 100 watts for the first several hours of the contest.

I had a great time and am looking forward to the 160 contests next year. Many thanks to all who worked me.
