01/29/2005 | N2IQ At times, things seemed to be hopping, with lots of activity.
But, when looking back at previous years, activity on 70 cm
was clearly down. Most of the missing stations were from the
US. On the second weekend, I decided to switch to the Kennedy
28 footer for 23 cm and give the 48 footer a rest on 70 cm, but
after a couple of hours and only working about 20 plus stations,
I decided to go back to 70 and finish the contest where I already
had a strong start.

No major Murphy attacks and no WX concerns this year. -- N2IQ
