I prepared myself ahead of time this year, I got out the Morse Machine a couple weeks ahead of SKN and did a lot of practice so that I would not be as bad as I was a couple years ago with a very rusty fist at that time. I made 6 good SKN contacts this time and really enjoyed using my Navy Flame Proof Key, it is easy to use and it would also be great if I could have heard what I sounded like out on the receiving end!!
I think that I will use my straight key more this year and be ready for the next SKN.
One of my best contacts was with Tommy AA4TB, he was very easy to copy.
Lets all encourage others to get on SKN next year and make it an even bigger event ! ! ! ! !
