01/05/2007 | WB5QVN What a great event! I operated SKN using a vintage Drake Novice set-up (50W Xtal controlled 2-NT xmtr and a 2-C Rcvr) before getting lazy and firing-up the FT-990. Also did some SKN mail-reading on my National HRO. Used an old straight key liberated at some point in WW2 from the German Army to make 10 SKN QSOs. Heard many SUPER fists and several vintage rigs....all QSOs made and heard were FB...how can you pick the 'best'??!!
