01/02/2007 | KB6NU I made seven contacts total in this year's SKN--five on New Year's Eve and two on New Year's Day. Thanks to all who put up with my fist. I would have made more, but my wrist gave out. :)

I used my WWII-vintage J-45, which is a J-37 key mounted on a leg clamp. Boy, was that clamp tight!

It was great to hear so many stations on the air. It seemed like there were more this year than last year. I just hope this event encourages them to get on the air more in 2007. -- KB6NU
