01/02/2007 | WB7GR Finaly got enough guts to plug in a key and operate CW. Thanks to the guys who were slow enough to make it fun for everyone. SKN WAS GREAT FUN! I listened more than I sent but did manage to make three enjoyabe rag chew QSO's. I used a garage sale straight key stamped "E.F. Johnson" with no other markings. I guess that proves the a cheap plated brass key works as well as an expensive gold plated one! With plans for more CW activiy (perhaps SKCC) in my shack, I look forward to next years SKN. :) Greg -- WB7GR
