01/02/2007 | WA1RKS This was the third or fourth time my son N1CCF,and I have worked SKN. We have made it a ritual to work it each year. So if nothing else we can look forward to that. Altho I do get in there more often thru out the year for SK Q's.SKCC # 931. I am not a CW purist,I listen everyday somewhere,following QSO's and listening to W1AW'S Practice runs and bulletins,and I agree with the guys already posted it was a good year, lots more people in there seemed to me also. The beauty about SKN is everyone is on an even keel,and the speeds are always slow enough for anyone to follow,and there are so many gud ops out there that are willing to slow way down for anyone,myself included.
