For me, SKN means 160M at its finest. Nothing comes closer to oldtime Ham Radio than the pure joy of working 2000+ miles on the lowest frequencies we operate. Used a new to me TS930S that is need of some work, but it did well for this event. The Key is a suplus Russian Straight Key from the 1970's that I picked up on Ebay. I have had it for many years and use it everywhere, including mobile. The Antenna was a 175' Inv L up about 37' with 7 radials and a 12' ground rod at the feed point. Thanks to W7WE, N6XG, KE7BAW, WN5KNY, W1RO/7, WI0S, WA6ARA, and W8GD for the pleasurable QSO's. Best Fist: Hard to say, All were good. Most Interesting QSO: WA6ARA and his 1940's Straight Key.
