01/02/2007 | KD6WKY I worked ten stations during SKN, including one JA. It's been ten years since I put my fingers on a straight key; it reminded me of those first few weeks of Navy Morse Code School in San Diego back in the early 70's.

I had lots of fun working SKN off and on during the event with plenty of time for family and friends in between QRV time.

Now I'll put that straight key back in the box and plug in that paddle. You don't realize how great an electronic keyer/paddle is until you spend some time with a straight key. -- KD6WKY
