I Made 15 contacts during the first 5 hours of non-continuous activity, taking time off to toast the new year with the family and have a late dinner.
I jumped between 160, 80 and 40M as activity was heard and when 80 got too busy to find a place in the new microband CW portion.
Heard and worked many FISTS and SKCC fellow members. Several I heard are "regulars" I chat with often and many others were new calls to me.
Sure a lot of activity to rebuff those lightwieghts who have been crying "ha, ha, CW is dead" lately!
I'm keeping my J-38 key busy but sure it will not wear out before next SKN! -- K8JD
