01/04/2007 | AE3A Had another blast during SKN 2007!
This was my 4th straight SKN, after a long period of inactivity. The station is pretty simple, but I've managed to collect several straight keys now over the past few years, including four used for this SKN: a Nye Speed-X, my venerable J-38, a "Mae West"-type J-37, and a Navy "flameproof" CMI 26003A. Judging from the activity on the bands (I worked mainly 40 and 20), this will be another record-breaking year? Most of my 8 QSO's were ragchews, thoroughly enjoyable.
