01/06/2007 | K4JK My first one in a couple of years, and made only one contact (but that is a start). When I turned on my Pro-III on 40 meters all I saw was wall to wall blips; thought it was a contest week end. I tried giving a couple of calls but got no response. 40 meters went dead a little before 11:00 so went to 80 meters. Gave a call and KF9VA Steve came back. We has a nice conversation then I went to bed.

Some of the good fists I head besides Steves were W2LID, N4UB, and WA1JXR.

My antenna is my house gutters forming a 100 foot loop, so am not sure how well I am getting out. -- K4JK
