01/07/2007 | WA6IQZ Wow! Whoever says all the fun has gone out of ham radio has never been on SKN! It's been too long since I'd been on SKN and really missed all that great "hand-made" CW.

SKN was made most memorable by my girlfriend who gave me this 1955 Philmore Model 750 "code-practice" key as a Christmas gift along with my first new radio in over 20 years - A Kenwood TS-570D. You can even see in the picture that the "cheat sheet" along the bottom of the board is still usable - and yes, i did use it a couple of times. 73's John -- WA6IQZ
