01/10/2007 | K6ILM Another great SKN experience, this time with small iron. The Globe King & KWS-1 sat silent for the first time since 1963. Used the same J-38 I got in 1950's. Transmitted with 1929 Hartley and H.B. 6L6, received with National FB-7 and Gross "Eagle". Best fist was WB6HQK. Can't wait for the next SKN - maybe on the 4th of July? -- K6ILM
