01/12/2007 | K9ING I had a great time; I work some cw throughout the year with a keyer, but I dig out my J-38 from novice days ('57) and have at it...don't make many contacts but I have a blast. I live in the Western part of Texas and my best fist nominee is a contact I had on 40 with Ken, N8KC in Shelby Township, Mi. His sending was very crisp and well timed...much better than mine (or anyone else I heard.)
I got his qsl today and I see why; he's a radio telegrapher also a members of FISTS. A pleasure to hear how it should be done Ken. Once a year may not be often enough...this is now an option and we have to sell it to the next bunch..Bob Stevens K9ING -- K9ING
