01/22/2007 | W0RTK Stations worked from my station in Belfield, North Dakota were W7UR, K0MDS and K5EECI as holiday guests did not allow more time to get on the air with my first ham station, Globe Scout 65, Hammarlund HQ140X and Heath VF1 vfo. Had a receiver problem due to anntena relay not working properly, but still had a ball. My homebuilt hand key took a bit of doing to work correctly, or perhaps it was the operator? I am looking forward to working more cw this winter, and also to the next event. Fun to get the old gear fired up again even if it is 50 years old. 73 Clarence CLA on cw. -- W0RTK
